The Wednesday Word..

Hi sorry not posted for last two days...

Monday was our 24th Wedding Anniversary and hubbie and I went to Stamford for lunch and a meander around the historical buildings and gift and home décor stores. It's my favourite town in Lincolnshire it has a pretty river walk and lovely ambience.

Then Tuesday my youngest son started his course at college which went well.  I made him choc chip cookies for when he got home.

so card I am posting today is the one  I made for my hubbie for our wedding anniversary. A CAS style in red and white and I love the sentiment.

See you tomorrow

Ah hello Sunday..

Finally got motivated this morning to cut hedges at the front of the house. Unfortunately hedge trimmer decided doesn't want to work this morning! Hubbie has luckily got receipt as had it under a year so off to get that sorted.
I  will be juggling cooking Sunday roast and gardening this pm then.

Another Christmas card make today.
This is a scene built using Indigoblu Looks Like Reindeer stamp set .Glitter sparkle and Distress ink milled Lavender

Enjoy your Sunday whatever you are up to

Autumn is coming..

Beautiful sunny day today but a little crispness means Autumn is on its way. Still busy with Christmas cards. I made this for a family member who would appreciate the sentiment and simple style of the card.

CAS style using Katy Sue Designs Nativity Silhouette stamps , an unbranded in card frame die and sentiment by Inkadinkadoo. Monotone theme.

Have a lovely weekend

hi Folks
Long time no blog! Sorry not posted for 9 months but needed a break due to illness and family .
My eldest started university last September and has settled into his new life in Brighton. my youngest son has just passed his GCSE's and is looking forward to starting his course at college.
So now I can focus on me and my hobbies - gardening, cooking and of course crafting.
so new beginning with a box made from a Crafters Companion gift bag template. Adjusted to make a box by adding another flap so I could fit these Jurlique goodies inside, a pressie for my sister-in- law.

Items used
2 x A4 ivory pearlescent card
12x12 floral paper
Crafters companion Gift bag template
black ribbon
Lili of the Valley circle sentiment
Circle craft dies

have a great Thursday

Lest we forget..
Today is Remembrance Sunday. I think virtually every family will have been affected by the effects of a war in the family history. For me my maternal grandfather and his brothers served in the first and  second war. My grandfather lost brothers in Belgium in the WW1 and I poignantly remember visiting a War memorial and finding my uncles name etched in the stone.
Its my mums birthday today so the card I made for her had to have a poppy. Have a peaceful reflective day everyone.
