Christmas is coming..
started making my christmas cards and decided to use some inkadinkadoo clear stamp sets i bought years ago. been paying with masked ink backgrounds using Tim Holtz distress inks and so pleased with the results.. had a cold last few days so made the most of indoor time between baking and cleaning.
Thank you for looking and comments greatly appreciated.

Welcome Everyone
Hi welcome to my new blog.. my old blog site I cant use and hadn't posted since 2013.! Well life got busy with my boys growing, juggling my job and home life and hubby's job. But hey i'm back with a new site , new energy and ideas !
so the first post is about home decor idea I've been doing for coasters

Items used :
4 plain white tiles from DIY store
Mod Podge Glue
12x12 scrapbook paper of your choice
Craft knife
Foam applicator
Clear Varnish spray or clear resin

Make sure tiles are clean. Cut scrap book paper to fit on top of each tile. apply Mod Podge glue to tile and adhere your paper square to it. allow to dry.
when dry apply Mod Podge glue over top of design in one direction and include edges as want to make as watertight as possible. allow to dry.
apply second coat of Mod Podge in different direction and allow to dry.
apply 3rd coat of Mod Podge if needed.
Place in an old box and apply varnish spray to top in a ventilated area. allow to dry according to instructions before applying next coat. There is a clear resin that can be bought which is more heat resistant which i will try next time

they would make great gifts or a way to fit in with your own home decor

Happy crafting
