Lest we forget..
Today is Remembrance Sunday. I think virtually every family will have been affected by the effects of a war in the family history. For me my maternal grandfather and his brothers served in the first and  second war. My grandfather lost brothers in Belgium in the WW1 and I poignantly remember visiting a War memorial and finding my uncles name etched in the stone.
Its my mums birthday today so the card I made for her had to have a poppy. Have a peaceful reflective day everyone.

gosh over a year way from blogging.. I am going to make a go of this blog malarkey.. today posting 2 cards made with Polkadoodles Regal Peacock stamp set..adore this set as so many imaginative possibilities..
this  time played with alcohol inks on pearlescent card and used stamps to make flowers. fairy is from another stamp set. die cuts for layering effect. happy crafting
